Rome Simulation
In my history class, a simulation is my favorite part. I like it because it is like an easy act where you take place in the classroom not a stage. In my class simulation day is when the teacher let us pick random stick to be the characters. During the simulation you get to act out certain characters stage of there rank level. Like if you are the villagers you stay under the emperors laws. In return you get something from the emperor, like protection. During the play I do not matter of who I am because I like all the characters. The image here shows the Roman Simulation where my partner and I are presenting our province for the trade.
My reflection on the simulation is it helps me learn of how it might be like during that time, and it also adds more information to the topic. Instead, it s a much shorter and easy learning. However I think it won't give as much information as reading and taking notes. Simulation day is a summary or play of what you've done. It is a more relax learning. A connection I have is in sixth grade, where we present our work in the front of the room to the whole class. We usually present during math by using the teacher's smart board to write and solve the questions. Some difference is we do this presentation recently and we do not play a role to act out as someone. Simulation day is a much easier because students get to do less work and more fun. |
