Computer class had helped me a lot this year. Such as, being secure or safe on the internet and how to use the computers. Also it taught me how to use recent tools like google docs, PowToon, and more. This class helped me with being safe in the computer when we were doing the My Digital Life. There was these activities the class had to do. My Digital Life involves, how to make your website noticeable and
how you should react to bad situations. Therefore, that was how computer class had helped me this year.
I think that in the future, we are going to use the computer more often and I will take and use the skills in the future. I will use al of what I learned, such as google docs,

Today in science, our class dissect a squid. Each person with their partner each had a squid, and we quickly dissect it. I was so shocked when I opened up the squid. The organism was so plain, no wonder squid don't survive long. Ther was barely anything, and all the organs were mostly in the mantle. There was very little to dissect because it was pretty little. Everything in the was very small and very simple, there wasn't even a stomach. When the squid was cooked, I found it interesting that it was so small. The mantle seemed bigger than that. After it was cooked, the mantle curled up. Therefore, if you were a squid eater you would need to eat up to about 50 of them to fill a human appetite.
Another thing that was very fascinating was the pen, or something that acts something similar to a back bone. It looked exactly like feather pen, and you can even write with it by poking it into the ink sack and start writing. The pen was so transparent, it looked just like plastic. Also, it was very easy to break. The squid dissection helped me learned something new about squids, that they are very simple. However, it has a stinky odor to me.

Once upon a time, there lived an orphan in the streets of a busy town. She was homeless and didn't have a place to shelter. She would wander from streets to streets, with a hungry stomach. She became homeless when her millionaire mother died. No one cared for her mother and treated the sickness well, because they thought it was just a flue, so after her death, the girl's father remarried and abandoned the orphan. Then one day, she saw an old man in the corner giving out free matches. "Maybe, that will keep me warm this evening" she said to herself. It was the cold month of December, and she was alone outside without anything.
She went over to the man and said"May I have a couple of matches." The match seller gave her one and said "That is the last one I have." She was pleased and didn't wh

Once upon a time there lived a young boy who is very smart and loved to compete with others. Each competition he entered, he will come out with a prize. The competitors will laugh at him when he entered and think that such a small boy will never beat the in a contest. One day, when the boy was up to compete with a challenger, the challenger teased him. However, he didn't care and ignored them. "I'll teach him a lesson when I beat him in this contest." It was a spelling bee contest, and everyone in the crowd was cheering for neither of the competitors. When the two contestants came up to the stage there was a wild scream from the crowd. Everyone was pleased to see the number of competitors. However, after half an hour only the smart boy and his rival was left over.
"And now for the last word," said the judges. "The word is, competitor!" The man buzzed in first. "It is C O M P E T I T E R ." "That's incorrect," told the judges. Then the  boy buzzed in. "It's C O M P T I T O R," he exclaimed. Then the boy won the spelling contest. "Did you learn your lesson?" said the boy when he walked past the man.

In a house in the middle of the fields in the east, there was a door there. According to the tales told, the people who went through the door never came back. The fortune teller said that the people were to be lost. Then, one day, this curios boy went onto the house. He remembered that his mother didn't want him near the house, but since he was too curios to know what was inside he disobeyed.
When he entered the old house, it was cold and he felt a chill, but still he wants to know where does the door lead to. Well, when he entered the door he saw the wall in front of it and the door disappeared. Then he thought that nothing happened and went home. When he came home and opened the door, he heard a scream. It was his mother's scream. "Don't scream," said the boy. But his mother kept screaming until he closed the door. "There's a ghost" shouted his Mom. The boy looked puzzled and went over to comfort his Mom. "Don't cry Mom," exclaimed the boy. However, his Mom didn't seem to notice him so, he went to his room.
The boy was curios why his mother didn't notice him, so he searched in a book about a fortune teller's quote about the mystery door. "If anyone who passes that door they will never be seen by human being because they are in another world. I once went through the door, and for me to return back to the real world, on the full moon, the door will appear again to the other side of the world. Then that is the only time you can return to the real world.'' Then after three days, it was a full moon and the boy went back to the door and went through it. "Finally," he whispered in relief. The boy ran as quickly as possible home and explained the whole thing to his parents, And he never ever went to the house again.

Today in core, I think me and the class felt clumsy. It was like a regular day, we attend class and writer down the homework and start off with humor of the day. Next we spent the whole class time doing test prep for the CST. After a while, the teacher put on the "Cinco de Mayo" song and the class clumsily listened and finished up the test. Then when we finish the test prep, the class started on the DBQ.                                                            However, I didn't finish the DBQ, so I have to do it for homework.
When the teach turned off the music, we corrected the test prep and then started reviewing the DBQ. The DBQ was about the Maya civilization, and their items they use. After we finish going over the DBQ, the teacher discusses to the class how next week we will roll like, each period. Next when the bell rung, we were in the middle of a talk; instead we attend the next class.

It was a while ago, but it was still funny. My teacher and the class were talking about things that will be brought up in the future. Such as an oven that can cook food in seconds, which is now the microwave. Another thing was about flying cars which is now an air plane. My teacher and the class were talking about bringing back the extinct species, and my teacher said that in Jurassic park, they did bring up a new species. However it died within seconds. Then we talked about how we would use robots to do the work for us. However, one student mentioned that we would get lazy and fat. Therefore, we thought of some other ideas. It was funny when the teacher said that the world of technology will come and we will be using only technology. She said that there will be cell phones allow in school and that everyone won't use textbooks, paper, and pencils anymore. Maybe then it would have been a very long time.

It was a cold windy day, and Jack was sitting by his grandfather's bed. His grandfather was very ill, and Jack wanted to keep his grandfather company. The house they live in was old and in the middle of the woods. Therefore, Jack cannot get help. So, he sat by his grandfather's bed. Watching him in pain, about to die. Jack was abandoned by his parents when he was a baby, and now he was an orphan without anyone. Jack had been taught by his grandfather of how to live in the great woods. Jack quickly saw Grandfather's eyes closed and realized he was dead. Jack sobbed for a minute, then drag his grandfather outside and buried him on the snow. He was alone now and so he will need to find food for himself and keep him alive day by day.
Jack hunted all season and found a few animals to last him a few days or so. Then spring came; the old tree that stood in the front yard of the old house began to bloom. One day, Jack sat by the tree and thought about his grandfather. He missed him because during the spring time, his father and him would go fishing. Jack sobbed by the tree and heard a voice. "Why are you crying?" said the old tree. "Grandfather, is that you?" asked Jack. " Yes, Jack.'' "I miss you Grandfather," called Jack. The two chat for a while and before bed that night Jack hugged his Grandfather tree and went to sleep.

Would you like a world of technology? I may like it, but there are many cons to it. Such as, the world may become lazy by only using technology. It could be also hard to concentrate at school with all the technology on. Students will be texting, watching videos, and do other things instead of focus on school work. Also, the city or town will use way too much electricity are there will not be enough money to pay all the bills. Using too much technology will not be good for our eyesight too. People can become blinded by the lights produce from the devise used everyday. This is why living a life with technology isn't good.
I know that some people may want to live a life like this, because it is easy for them. The use of technology for them is a piece of cake, and it will not bother them. People may want to use technology all day long, since they are rich and can afford the bills. However, some people don't want to use only technology, because they want to enjoy life naturally and freely. Another reason, poor people can't afford highly cost bills. This is why living in a world with only technology isn't a benefit.

Once there lived an old farmer that works in a farm. He had a cow, ducks, chickens, and a dog. All day, the farmer work in the fields and picked vegetable and fruits to seel at the farmers market. However, he didn't receive a lot of money since there were already lots of vendors like him. In his village, people strongly value cheese because it is rare and also people don't know how to make it. Very few farmer's or workers can make it. The old farmer wasn't and expert at making cheese, but he did remember some of  the steps his father taught him.
One day while was walking to the farmer's market with his wagon of fruits and vegetable, he overheard that there was going to be a contest on making the biggest cheese. The old farmer rushed to the market and bought a huge barrow and a big wooden spoon to stir it. That night he thought of the days his father taught him how to make cheese. He couldn't remember much, so he went to bed. That night, he dreamed of his father coming to him and reviewing to him the steps of making cheese. The next day he started off to make the cheese.
Unexpectedly an elephant came over to him and said "Need help, that looks like a lot of milk to stir up there." "Sure", exclaimed the farmer. Then the old farmer went inside to change out of his old clothes and put on the clean slick one. While the old farmer had gone inside the elephant used it's long trunk to hold the handle and stirred the cheese. He stirred it so fast, it was flying all over the place, but at the same time it is increasing in size. At the same time the farmer gasp at the cheese and told the elephant to stop. "Well that is the biggest cheese I have ever seen in my life," said the farmer all amazed. "We couldn't simply take it to the contest, so I'll bring the judges over." When the farmer returned there was a hugemungous crowd after him that came to see the cheese. The farmer and the elephant won second place because there was a man who had an even bigger ball of cheese than what they had. "It's from my friend, the whale."the winner exclaimed
