Microsoft Editorials and Ribbon Hero are both similar to eachother because they both use Microsoft. However, there is a major difference in the teachings of how to use Microsoft. In Microsoft Editorials the class had to take notes while watching short videos and in Ribbon Hero it is about helping Clippy a paperclip to fix his mistakes by finding the right correction.
My experience in the two activities are that Microsoft Editorials teach me much more even if it takes more work and much more boring I learned more because of the step-by-step teachings of how to use Microsoft. On the other hand, in Ribbon Hero I takes less thinking and more fun. Even though it cause a little frustration at not finding the right corrections it is much more active. However, in Ribbon Hero I attempt to forget some things. It is just like a video game, everythings quick, so Ribbon Hero is just active and not teaching you much. When I figured out the corrections it was usually from the skills in Microsoft Editorials, Ribbon Hero is only giving you hints and clues and once you figured out the correction you may already start to forget or like I said before the everythings quick, so you could easily forget.
In conclusion, Microsoft Editorials are the better ones and should be in usage. Even if it provides less fun you learn more. Also, when too active you do not learn as much as having fun. Anyways, sometimes learning the boring way helps you improve better than the fun way.
