There are lots of cell organelles that helps the cell, actually all the cell organelles help cell in various way. They all have a job that does a great effect on the cell to be alive. The mitochondria is a cell organelle that helps the cell break down sugar to make energy. Mitochondria is also called the power house of the cell. Since the cell uses energy to work, without the mitochondria the cell and cell parts wouldn't be able to function and then the organism may not survive. It is in both plant and animal cells. The lysosome is an organelle that digests food particles, waste, cell parts, and harmful bacteria or germs.
Some other organelles is the lysosomes are like the stomach except it can move around the cell. Without the lysosome the cell may get sick easily, and that affects the organism. Another organelle is the ribosomes. They are the tiniest in all the cell parts and not covered in a cell membrane. Ribosomes floats around the cytoplasm or sticks to the ER. Even though the ribosomes are tiny they are the most helpful and handy thing because ribosomes produce proteins. All the cell parts need protein to stay alive. There are also many more cell parts, and the cell and organism is dependent on the organelles. The cell parts keeps the cell alive like the system in our body too.

The growth of baby rats is similar to a human baby. They both grow fast during their first few months until when they are old enough to look like their parents. Something I figured out is that if you put the baby's hand over their head about a ninety degree angle, their fingertips only goes up to their head. But as the baby rats gets older its tail grows like the arm and in a while, the tail is longer than their body length. Same as the tail when the arm grows the fingertips reach over the top of their head. That shows the infant is growing.
As you can see in the chart below the baby rats' body grows slower as it gets older. Everything grows more slowly as they get older, that's why you don't see adults grow and look as different as they get older. Looking differently is another way that growings affects you too.

My favorite activity during first quarter is ''It's Alive''. It is when we measure the development of a plastic organ that grows if you put it in water. First, my group measured our organ, a brain with an inch ruler, using the centimeter side. Then measured its mass with a triple beam balance. Afterwards, my group record the data of the length and mass. Finally, we plop it back into the water.
Each day we continued the process, and our organ grew and got heavier. Surprisingly, after a while the size stopped growing and instead decrease in size. However the mass still remain, and it got heavier. Even though the mass still increase, it grew weight much slower than when we first plop it in the water the first time. This is some of my favorite activity because it is simple to follow the directions and it's not a toxic chemical that could harm anyone. I really liked the experiment and hope we do something similar to that sometime later on the year.

In my science class I have learn that your body has trillions of cells. There are so may you couldn't count them all. Mostly it is only estimate when counting cells. You could not feel your cells, but you know they are always working because your still alive. When your cells are still working you do not get sick easily because you're healthy. However if you do not get enough sleep or eat the right food then you may get sick. The illness may heal if you eat the right medicine and
food. Also you should get plenty of sleep when you are ill. You should not only eat and sleep, but also exercise. The more exercise you have, the healthier your cells and muscels would be.
Healthy cells makes it easier for you body to heal injuries. Without a healthy functional body, you may not even feel the injuries if they're small. Sometimes the injuries heal before you know it. That's why we should stay healthy and keep our body strong so our body function like our cells would work properly.

I learn from my science class that you look like your parents because part of their DNA is past to you. I look more closely to my father than my mother and my sister look more like my mother. I look like my father from my face, part of what we like is nature, and my feet are the same as his. While my sister has a face like my mother, body like her, and they both like fashion. I think that if sometimes we are different we still share the same features.
DNA is past down to offsprings by sexual reproduction. The DNA then, form a cell and divides lots and lots of times with forms organelles and late on it is the figure of the offspring. The DNA carries instructions to do something, and it also carries genes too. Genes are what give you your hair color, your skin color, and in other words why you look like what you look like.

Based on my information, I think the denominator is larger in fraction because when you convert it to decimals it is read left to right where the whole number which is in the ones place is larger than the rest. In decimals the place values are ones place to the other place values and in decimals the bigger the number the smaller it is to a whole number. The numbers after the ones place is also making the whole number small. That's why the denominator in fraction is larger.

I learned from ''My Digital Life'' that you should becarful when using the computer because there are many viruses,
malaware, and inapproiate sites. You should not post pictures of yourselves doing inappropiate things or send someone bad pictures. You should not send, talk, or meet to someone you don't know online face to face. You should look for what type of computers and sites that are safe online.  Also, people should not text while driving or text too much because it could cause injuries or affect their grades. Additionally, you should change your password regularly so you may not get hacked. ''My Digital Life'' had taught me a lot about the outside dangers on the computer and taught me how to avoid these situations from happening.

Computers change the way I do things because by using a computer everything is faster and easier. Now sending letters are not snail mail anymore. Instead you just text or e mail anybody you like. Part of our time is in the computers too. In fact, most jobs are done on the computers now. Even factories, stores, and almost every place we go to has a computer. However, I usually like using textbooks and spend less time on the computers. It's healthier for your eyes. But I do want to educate and without technology maybe I won't be to educate or have a career. Anyways, both ways are fine with me. It makes me spend less time writing if I'm going to write a long essay it less likely hurts my hands and fingers. I think computers will make my life more positive.
